A CMA, or Comparative Market Analysis, is a tool that Realtors & industry professionals use to estimate the value of a specific property by evaluating similar listings that have recently sold (or are currently up for sale) in the same area.  Its purpose is to clarify what a subject property's value may be at any given time.  CMAs can help sellers decide when the right time to list a property is, or help potential buyers see if a desired home is appropriately & competitively priced.
